  1. Mōrena Kaylah, Kiana-Marino here from the Summer Learning Journey.

I hope you enjoyed christmas and New Years and ready for another week of activties.

Ka pai e hoa! Good job my friend! Thank you for sharing your summer haiku activity with us on your blog. I really like how you have used a photo that represents your haiku, what a great big smile you are wearing also. Your haiku reminds me exactly of how i experience summer at the river on a nice hot day.

I look forward to more posts on your blog over the holidays.

    Ngā mihi,
    Kiana-Marino

    1. Thanks for the feed back and I hope you have a good day. This is my first time writing one and I was so frustrated when I first tried, but now it is not that hard and I really enjoy them.

    2. Morena Kaylah, good to hear back from you.

Haha yes i found haiku's to be a challenge when i first started learning about them but once you get the hang of them they become easier. Good to hear you enjoy them.

Have a wonderful day e hoa!

      Ngā mihi,
      Kiana-Marino

  3. Kia Ora Kaylah!

I'm Kylah from Saint Mary's school in Gisborne.
I really like this haiku! It makes me think of going to the lake! Which lake do you like to go to? I like to go to Lake Taupo in Omori with my family!
